Obituary
Passed away On February 18th, 2013 after an illness in his 90th year. He will be dearly missed by his soulmate Galyna and her children Mark, Tanya and Oriana, nephew Bohdan Dmytruk (wife Darka) and their family, cousin Kristya (son Gliband) and their family, Maria Bilan in Ukraine & friends. He was a member of the Ukrainian Youth Ensembles “Orion”, “Levada” and “Vanguard” for many years under the direction of Maestro Roman Yasinskiy. In lieu of flowers donation to these ensembles would be appreciated. Family would like to thank Dr. Roman Lijnik for his care and compassion in this hard time. May Iwan rest in peace in Canadian soil. Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (east of Keele) on Friday, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 p.m. Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. A Divine Liturgy will be held at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 135 LaRose Avenue on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery, Oakville.Visitation
