We have known Joao & Virginia since we became neighbours about 15 years ago. Please accept our sincere condolences. Joao was such a lovely man. We used to chat on the street and he kindly offered to water our plants then we were away in the summer. He also really loved petting our dog. We will miss Joao and will do our best to help support dear Virginia as best we can. Sending our heartfelt sympathies to all his family and friends.

My dad was a very shy introverted man but he was also very friendly to people and was very loyal. When I needed help with assembling furniture or painting my place he was there for me. He loved reading the Portuguese newspaper and was always up to date with current events. Seeing my dad suffer and not being able to breath was heart wrenching but I am in comfort now knowing he is free from pain and he is with his family in heaven(another realm).
