Passed away peacefully in Toronto on Thursday, December 9, 2021. João is survived by his loving wife Antonia, his daughter Susy (Jose), son Jason and grandchildren Kelly and Rio. For those who wish memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Cancer Society - Prostate Cancer.
We must continue to maintain physical distancing, the wearing of masks and may not allow more than 50 guests at any one time. Once the maximum limit has been reached, we will ask any additional guests to kindly wait outside in a physically-distanced line until there is room to enter safely.
