Sincere condolences to the Soares and Ferreira families from our family. As a High School friend of Lucy's I had the pleasure of seeing and talking to Mr. Soares from time to time. He always presented as a gentle soul who reminded me very much of his wonderful daughter. My parents would see Mr. ad Mrs. Soares at their church and always had pleasant conversations with both. It saddened me to read Mr. Soares' obituary as I could imagine the pain of my old friend and her family were experiencing. My hope is that all the wonderful memories will comfort family and friends to endure this tremendous loss. May Mr. Soares Rest in Peace.
