Obituary

Joseph Harry Williams Lennard was born on June 13, 1930 in Montreal, Quebec and passed away on November 5, 2018  in Toronto, Ontario from lengthly illnesses. He was raised in Toronto, Ontario and attended Ridley College in St. Catherines, Ontario on a scholarship, Forest Hill Collegiate in Toronto, Ontario and graduated from The University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario with a degree in Business Administration. His professional career was extensive over the years which allowed him to travel the world for business and work abroad in Vancouver, B.C., New York City, N.Y. and Atlanta, Georgia before returning to Toronto, Ontario. While in Toronto, he also taught classes part-time at Ryerson University and the University of Toronto. 
He is pre-deceased by his parents, Susan Lennard (nee Williams) of Oglethorpe, GA and Thomas Lennard of Toronto, Ontario. He is survived by his ex-wife, Marilyn (Marnie) Lennard (nee Reid); daughter, Jo-Anne Marilyn Lennard; son, John Reid Lennard; and daughter-in-law, Roxane Hreha of Tacoma, WA. He loved his family dearly and will be missed my many. May his soul finally rest in peace.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm at Cardinal Funeral Home at 366 Bathurst St. Toronto, Ontario. The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 11am at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated for either The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, The Ontario Lung Association, The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or The Alzheimer's Society of Toronto.
