Obituary

Gatherings will be limited to up to 50 people at a time in a visitation suite. When coming for a visitation, guests are asked to pay their respects to the deceased, acknowledge the family from a safe distance and exit the suite. Guest seating has been arranged to maintain physical distancing and will remain in place for all services and visitation in the funeral home. Once guests exit the visitation suite, we kindly ask them to exit the funeral home to allow other guests the same opportunity.   Donations for Mr. Kelee Haggarty may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

My family and I wish to offer our deepest condolences. I have known Kelee some 32 years he was one of the most caring human beings I have met and I will miss him dearly. He helped me when I needed it the most and at the time didn’t even know me. I think fondly of our friendship and I hope others think of me in the same way, he was definitely someone to look to as an example of how to be a friend.

Kelee was so intelligent, caring, and courageous. I learned a lot from talking to him. He was a great chess player, and I could never win a game with him unless he let me(which he would never do). I met him years ago when he was volunteering at Metro Hall in our Employment Services Centre, where he was extremely skilled in working with job seekers. He was a person of many talents, and had exceptional talent relating to people in crisis. He left this world way too soon.
