When I worked with Lubo at BMO GAM, a number of years ago, his ever happy demeanor glowed when speaking of his family. He was incredibly proud of his family and something you should all remember during this difficult time.
Lubo's challenging creativity will truly be missed.

You were the brother I never had. My best friend with such a fine sense of humour that made us appreciate life more and live it to the fullest. I was lucky to meet you. The zest for life in you was contagious and brought happiness and lots of laughter to all of us around.
You had a special bond with dogs. They were crazy about you. They say that dogs sense out the good people.
It's quiet these days. So much sadness. We miss you already. We will always love you.

Life is a journey and like every journey it has a beginning and an end. We do not control the entry and exit points of our time on Planet Earth. We are, however, in the driver's seat for the ride and our legacy is the experiences we leave with those around us - family, friends, etc.
Lubo was larger than life. His love for good company, food and wine was contagious and his natural wit truly entertaining. He brought joy and laughter to those of us who were lucky to know him.
Today we mourn a loss of a dear friend while celebrating the life he lived and enjoyed. Lubo lives through the memories we cherish of him, the good times we shared and those witty lines of his that we will keep borrowing from. Thank you, Lubo, and rest in peace! We carry on with WLE!
