Obituary
Rodrigues, Manuel Bento – Born November 16th, 1922 in Sao Miguel, Portugal and passed away peacefully after a short illness on October 16th, 2014 at Toronto Western Hospital. Loving husband to Maria Lourdes for 61 years. Beloved father of Isabel, Anna, Helen, Rita, Marianne and Frank. Proud and loving grandfather to Melanie, Laura, Samantha, Kaitlyn, Michelangelo, Matilda, Shayla, Shelby, Gabriel, Stephanie, Nichole and Whitney. His little games and jokes will be forever missed by his extended family and friends also. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst St. (north of Dundas) on Sunday, October 19th from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, October 20th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church followed by the interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In loving memory of Manuel, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation for colorectal cancer detection & screening program 416-946-6560.Visitation
