Obituary

Manuel Joaquim Duarte born in Sao Miguel, Azores on May 5, 1931. He married Judith Duarte in 1955. They became parents in 1956 to Luisa, to Olivia in 1957, to Carmen in 1961 and to John in 1966. He moved to Canada in 1970, later joined by his family in 1974. Manuel became a grandfather to 11 grandchildren and later to 7 great-grandchildren. Manuel was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Manuel loved music and to tell jokes. He was always whistling a tune or listening to his radio. Manuel will be sorely missed by his family and friends, but will never be forgotten.
