Matthew was a wonderful man, and I'm proud to have been able to call him my friend. I will miss him, but he will live on in my many pleasant memories. I'll remember him as I saw him in life - honest, loyal, playful and caring.
My thoughts and condolences to all of us who are touched by his passing.

I have been honoured to have Matthew as my friend for the last 18 years .We have played Squash and Golf togeteher and have made many visits to the pub.Matthew was a true friend who could always be relied upon.He said what he meant and meant what he said .Truly "Salt of the Earth"
