ZELYK, Michael. Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Sunday February 28th, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Heath Centre, Toronto, in his 95th year. Beloved husband for 65 years to Maria. Loving father of Nadia Lehun (William) and Roman (Lesia). Cherished Dido of Katryn (Phillip), Jonathan (Frances), Alexander, Paul, Michael and Emily. Loving Godfather of Irene Bilaniuk (Jura). Michael will be dearly missed by his family & friends and extended family in Ukraine. Resting at Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (at Keele St.) where the family will receive friends on Sunday 6-8 pm. Panachyda at 7 pm. The Funeral Mass (Divine Liturgy) will be celebrated on Monday March 7, 2016 at 10 a.m., at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 143 Franklin Ave., Toronto. Rite of Committal to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers as an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral would be appreciated.
