It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Javni, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Born in Bosnia on April 9, 1941. Loving husband to Christine for 53 years. Dear father to Linda (Roman Mark Moroz) and Andrew (Donna Lawryshyn). Cherished Dido of Lidia, Tamara, Nastassia and Emily. Remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends throughout Canada, USA, Europe and Australia. The family would like to thank Dr. John Blondal and the Oncology and 6M nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 2nd at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette Street, Toronto from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. (Panachyda at 7 p.m.). Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 3rd at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 143 Franklin Avenue, Toronto at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
