Peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Versa Care, Rexdale in his 87th year. Beloved father of Mary Frances (Walter). Proud grandfather of Vanessa, John, Sarah, Ashley and Samuel. Dear brother of Coba Piercey and brother- in -law of Joan Miedema. Peter is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Veteran of WWII (Navy) and a 25 year employee of Stelco, 20" Mill. He will be missed by many of these friends as well. Resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St.(East of Keele) on Monday from 9-10 a.m. Chapel service to follow at 10 a.m. A Catholic Funeral Mass will also take place on Monday at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, 11 Wilson St. W., Ancaster at 1 p.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Ancaster."Visitation
