Obituary
After a brave and courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phillip Knauer on Friday, June 27, 2008. Phillip was a warm, kind-hearted, and generous man who was always willing to help those who needed him. His practical wisdom and love for his craft were well respected and admired by those who knew him. He was the loving husband of Jeannine for 47 years and father to Andrew (Jennifer), Roman, Christine (Kevin) and Larysa. Dido to Mitchell, Sara, Ashley and Aimee. Brother to Danny (Linda) and Lucia (Jerry) and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He leaves us with a lifetime full of fond memories which will be shared and reflected upon in the beautiful cottage he built for his family. He will be missed but will forever remain in our hearts. Resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette Street (east of Keele St.) on Sunday, June 29th, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. with Panachyda at 7 p.m. Funeral services will commence from the funeral home on Monday, June 30th, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. then to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church (Queen St. at Bellwoods Ave.) for the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.
