I am so sorry to hear about Rob's passing. I had a lovely friendship with him. He was so nice to me and I will miss his warm spirit. Sending my love to his family and best wishes to everyone.

Looking at the many posts on Rob's Facebook account, I can't help bu marvel at how many people were touched by Rob. He was larger than life in many ways, and that can be a tremendous burden. We last spoke about three years ago, but I think the last time we enjoyed his company was at a shower for our first daughter in 1989. We were all better for being able to call him friend and brother.

I offer my prayers and my deepest sympathies to Rob's family. I was at Dartmouth with Rob. He had a huge personality.....just a great big, lovable guy....always kept it interesting. I was saddened to hear of his passing, and hope the family is comforted by the many lives Rob touched.

My Condolences to Rob's family. And Rob: I am glad you never let go of the rebellious spirit that brought us together at Dartmouth. Our talks in the last few years reflected all the same concern for social justice and love of others that had always driven you. I will definitely have to try your Seared Duck with Blueberry Cardamom Sauce recipe!

My deepest condolences on the passing of Rob.
Rob was a leader in our fraternity house at Dartmouth College. Rob was always ready for a new adventure and we shared many good times. He was a big man with a corresponding large spirit.
Although many years have passed since I last got together with Rob, I remember him fondly. He will be missed. His family will be in my prayers.

I will miss your big laugh, our listening to my soul records and your patient but unsuccessful attempts to teach me to play guitar and not hit myself in the head with your nunchucks. Have fun with my '73 coupe de ville-it is all yours now.
