April 13, 1922 ? April 26, 2008Passed away peacefully at home in the presence of his family. Caring husband to Marika, loving Dad to Olena and Roma, affectionate Dido to Molly, Zoe, Ben and Stefan. Born in Horodenka, Ukraine, Roman studied architecture in Austria where he and Marika were married and Olena was born. In 1951, the family immigrated to Canada, where his architectural practice flourished and Roma was born. After retirement, his attention turned increasingly to the enjoyment of his family and the writing of his memoirs. He is ever with us in our hearts. Roman is resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St., (east of Keele) on Friday, May 2nd, 2008 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with Panachyda (brief Ukrainian prayer service) at 7:30 p.m., followed by family tributes. Divine Liturgy on Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 at 1 p.m. at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church (135 La Rose Ave.) In lieu of flowers, donations to Children of Chornobyl would be appreciated. "
