I knew Ron on a casual basis from high school. Our paths would cross at reunions as we both had mutual acquaintances from Runnymede C.I. and work. Always cordial and soft spoken. Condolences to the family. He left us way too soon.

We were greatly saddened to learn of Ron’s passing. He was a great neighbour and friend who always dropped by for a visit with Markus and I when he was in Nobleton. He will be sorely missed. Sean and Dionne, your dad adored you and was so proud of both of you and your families. Our deepest condolences, Hazel Brunner and family.

I have such fond memories of Ron. We met under terrible circumstances in the Dominican in 2005. He and many others at the resort became family. We have kept in touch over the years and he was always so kind. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Heartfelt sympathy to all of his family

I am deeply saddened to hear of Ron’s passing. We had run into each other many times over the past few years in Newmarket and Nobleton and it was always a positive a reminder of the good timesI had at the Hingston’s house. I am so sorry for your loss and will be thinking of the whole family during this time.

I am completely shocked to hear this devastating news of Ron's passing. He was a wonderful neighbor, friend and who I jokingly called "dad". He always had a story, always had advice, always willing to lend a helping hand, and just over-all a wonderful and kind person. I spoke to him on the phone a few weeks ago and I just can't believe he is gone. He always dropped by his old neighborhood in Newmarket just to say hello and help with anything I needed fixed. I will truly miss him. So so sad. My heart breaks. Condolences to the family.

It was with great sadness that I read of Ron’s passing. Living in northern New Brunswick, I was not able to attend the recent Roselands afternoon reunion. I will always be grateful for the manner he reached out to me and other school chums and kept up our lines of communication through text messages. My heartfelt condolences to all family members during this time of grief. “Carry on Roselands ! …just for you, Ron.

We are so shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of our neighbour Ron. We have lived next door to him for the past 2 and a half years and it's hard to imagine not seeing him outside always friendly and ready to strike up a conversation. He was always the first one to offer help whether loaning us his ladder or clippers, and give advice to us as first time home owners especially about gardening. While I was pregnant and my husband worked long hours he often shoveled our driveway and steps for us to make sure we were safe. He was an active member of the community and a kind man. We are grateful to have known him and will miss him. Condolences to his family and may he rest in eternal peace.

We are saddened at the passing of our dear neighbour Ron. He was a wonderful neighbour who was always willing to extend a helping hand. Ron prided himself with his garden and love for his flowers and plants around his home. I would often tell Ron how envious I was of his beautiful green lawn and he was willing to share his tips and tricks to obtaining such a beautiful property. Ron also spoke about his love for his children and grandchildren often. I recall an email he sent me, not long ago, asking if I would be around as he wanted to introduce his grandchildren to me one summer when they came over to stay. I will miss seeing Ron around and all the conversations we had but I will forever cherish the memories. It won’t be the same without him around. Ron was truly a beautiful person and I am honoured to have met him. Our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time xo

Such a shock to learn of Ron’s passing. He loved Nobleton and kept up-to-date on the local news by reading our local newspaper. He would always chat for a long time when he phoned. He was very knowledgeable about various trees. He served on the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s Humber Watershed Alliance as one of King Township’s reps, for many years. He posted on Facebook about his fabulous trip to Australia and New Zealand. He helped in the early days on Nobleton Alert to get Nobleton to have a local sewage treatment plant instead of joining the “Big Pipe”. He was very proud of his kids. We shall miss him.
