In loving memory of Shih Tiong Go, a beloved father and grandfather whose words echoed through generations. With a reserve of knowledge backed by a lifetime of travels and adventures, he always entertained and inspired those around him.

A devoted family man, Shih Tiong Go cherished his role as a father and reveled in the joys of being a grandfather. He took great pride in his family homes in Hong Kong and Canada, filling each place with warmth and funny stories.

Stories told by Shih Tiong Go give us a glimpse into his long and legendary life. Born into a lowly village in Fujian of prewar China, Go Shih Tiong pursued higher studies in Singapore, returned to China to build his family, then relocated to Hong Kong and then on to Canada. He bore witness to the ascent of China and the apex of Hong Kong. In turn, he transformed what he saw into valuable lessons for his children, including the core tenets of respecting higher education and daring to seek a new life overseas.

Shih Tiong Go leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and achievement through travels and adventures. His presence will be missed, but his accomplishments will be immortalized in the form of his family taking root in many parts of the world. As we bid farewell to this remarkable father and grandfather, we celebrate a life filled with adventure and accomplishments and the lasting gift of love he left to us all.

My deepesr condolences to my 三叔 family. 三叔世忠 (Uncle Shih Tiong) had visited Singapore many times, always interesting to hear his life stories. He had showed me Singapore in 1950s pictures too while he was living here at his younger days. I remembered he often mentioned to be daring to explore the world and new life. Here I bid farewell to uncle Shih Tiong's last journey, may he rest in peace and light, he will be remembered.
