Ted Markiewitsch
To the Czornyj family, I was saddened to hear about the loss of your father, grandfather and friend Stephan, He was a kind and gentle man and I will fondly remember all the memories of interacting with him, like the Cottage we went to, The anniversary at the Old Mill and his love for singing among countless others, I had the privilege to spend my youth with your family when we all lived on Dovercourt Rd. and I will always cherish them! Stephan will now rest with Catherine(wife) your Mom and may his memory live on. Bless you all and Rest in Peace Stephan. My condolences!

The Kuchmij and Matys families
Dear Eugene, Walter, Mary, Bonita, Mary and your children, Our family was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved father, father-in-law and dido (grandfather). I know that there are no words that can express the heartache that you must be feeling. All I can offer is our condolences during this sad time. As you know, our mother, Marta Kuchmij and your father were close friends, who met at St. Demetrius residence. They were always together these past seven years and cared for one another. As a result, our family got to know your father and we were so impressed by his joyous nature, his love of life, his exhuberance and passion, his optimism, compassion and above all, his kind open heart! He loved to sing and tell jokes and he was always entertaining the residents. He was also so passionate about his homeland Ukraine! And, who could forget his 90th birthday party, where he truly was king for the night! I don't think St. Demetrius has ever seen such a party. Your father certainly spread joy wherever he went! "Pan Stephan" as we referred to him, will be much much missed. We will always remember him and keep him in our hearts! Vichnaya Pamiat! Mrs. Marta Kuchmij, Halya Kuchmij, Bohdan and Linda Kuchmij, Dianne and Danny Matys and their children
