Dear Kathy, Tom & Chris, I can't stop crying every time I think of Steve He was a kind and intelligent human being He was always there when we needed him Without Steve I would not have been able to clear my country home following the sale of the property just over a year ago. On the drives up north we had to stop at Tim Hortons and on the way back stop at Costco for his ju jubes and pistachios. His famous jokes and one liners were non stop on these drives. My sincere condolences to you Kathy, Tom and Chris Ivan

Dear Kathy, Tom and Chris Sorry for the loss of your brother and uncle. We are all going to miss him. I lived at 69 Pembroke Street, and Steve was an immeasurable support to John and I. After my husband, John Arpin died in 2007 I was so glad that Steve continued to do work for me and to offer support at any time; I relied on him and we had fun! In many ways Steve took care of me and made sure I was safe, I had what I needed done in the house and I used him through to my move away in fall of 2013. Then, he continued to work for me in my new Condo...and to help Ivan also with his country house sale. He worked hard; he was smart and he had a wonderful sense of humor ..and I was always touched that he wore a lime green shirt for me...(my favourite color) ...to cheer me up and make me laugh. I was shocked to hear of his passing. My sympathy and thoughts are with you all at this time; he will be missed in our neighbourhood. Regards, Mary Jane Esplen

My deepest condolences to you Kathy, Tom and Christopher. Since his passing, there isn't a day that's gone by that I haven't missed Steve. Over the years, he became a member of my family and a big part of my life. Constantly teasing me with jokes, much like a brother would do, about my sewing machines, crafts and work tools... Knowing I couldn't resist sea salt potato chips, it was the first thing he would put in his grocery cart when I took him shopping. There wasn't anything he wouldn't try to fix. Every project attempt, would end in "Let's hope for the best" and they did...
