Teodor (Ted) Czich
Passed away peacefully at his home on January 28th, 2021 in his 88th year.
Beloved husband of Lilly for almost 65 years.
Dear father to Vera Szewczuk and her husband Leo, grandchildren Terry and Melanie.
Dear father to Michael and his wife Teresa, grandchildren Adam, Katie (Shannon) and Sofi.
Survived by sisters Anna Bidiak, Olga Besky and many nieces and nephews.
Teodor was born October 9, 1933 in Ukraine, village of Zovnivka, region of Ternopil, and
immigrated to Canada with his family in 1949. Even though Canada was his home, he remained
patriotic to his heritage and instilled Ukrainian language and traditions in his children and
grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Sunday January 31st by invitation at Cardinal Funeral Home, Toronto. A private funeral and burial will be held on Monday February 1st at St. Volodymyr Cemetery in Oakville.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ukrainian Catholic Sobor of the Holy Protection, 30 Leeds Street, Toronto M6G 3R8 would be appreciated.
