DERECH, William "Bill" - (Veteran of WWII)It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Bill on Saturday, May 19th, 2007 in his 89th year. He is survived by his daughters Olga, Lesia, Orysia and his son Romko and families. Predeceased by his son Jerry. He now joins his dear friend Eufrosine Malyczewskyj. Also survived by Bohdan, Collon, Borys, Andrej and Maria and families. Bill will be missed by his many friends and family members both in Canada and the Ukraine. Friends may call at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St., (near Keele) on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. Panachyda will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. then proceeding to St. Demetrius Church (La Rose Ave.) for the Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
