Obituary

It is with profound sadness and with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Abella Fajardo Austria on Friday, March 12, 2021. Abella is survived by Antonio, her devoted husband of 67 years, her children Evelyn (Boyet), Mandy, Ariel (Elsa), Cynthia, her grandchildren Cromwell (Lorraine), Jazmine, JC, Nina (Genesis), Lyza (Roby), AJ (Princess), and Clarissa and great-grandchildren Charlie and Lily. She has reunited with her son, Jessie in heaven.

Mama Belle, as she was fondly called not only by her grandchildren but by family and friends, had lived a full and colourful life. She was aptly named as she was nurturing and motherly towards those around her. She has enriched the lives of everyone that knew her. Nothing gave her greater joy than seeing her family and friends happy and living life fully. She will be fondly remembered for her melodious laughter, brightly coloured nails, and her love of travel, music and dancing. She leaves behind a legacy rich with beautiful memories. Most of all, she will be remembered for her deep love for her family and for instilling in them that love conquers all.

She may have been called back home, but she continues to, and always will be alive in our hearts.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions in Toronto which allow for a maximum number of guests to attend a funeral, the service details will be kept private and attendance will be by invitation only. The family thanks you for your support and understanding during this challenging time.
