Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Adelaide Da Costa Correia, on April 9, 2022. She left us peacefully at her home at the age of 90. Adelaide was born on August 4, 1931 in Saõ Miguel, Azores, Arrifes, Portugal and arrived to Canada with her family in 1971.
Adelaide was a loving and devoted wife and is now reunited with her beloved husband Virgino Correia of 66 years. She was an amazing mother to her 4 sons, a sister, aunt, mother-in-law, and proud grandmother and great grandmother to 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She lived a full life and her great passions was her love to crochet and bake. She took great pride in her hobby and was extremely talented and enjoyed sharing her talent by teaching others to crochet. She would make blankets, clothes, table cloths and several other items that were absolutely beautiful.
Her family are forever grateful for all that she has taught us throughout her life and the countless memories we will carry with us daily. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Dear Correia family
My sincere condolences on the passing of your dear mom .
She was a lovely lady very dedicated to her dear husband, children and grandchildren all her family and friends. She always had a beautiful smile when she greeting friends and family. She will be truly missed by many. May God bring you all comfort during this sad time. She is in heaven now with her husband and her departed family.
