Obituary
(1921-2008)Peacefully passed away on Friday, December 26, 2008 at Kipling Acres Nursing Home in her 88th year.
Amelia leaves to join her beloved husband Iwan (1913-1999). Loving mother of Margaret McKnight ( husband Wayne ) and Rosemary Schooley ( husband John ). She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her 6 grandchildren , David ( wife Cally ), Greg (wife Luanne ), Christina ( husband Sean ), Jennifer ( husband Paul ), John and Katherine and great-grandchildren Danielle, Zachary, Jared, Brendan and Nolan.
Survived by her sisters Helen and Pauline and predeceased by Stephen, Olga and Leonard.
The family will receive friends at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette Street ( near Keele ) Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. then to St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church ( La Rose Ave. ) for Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. Interment St. Volodymyr Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. "
