Obituary

Kotack, Anne Adeline, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Wesburn Manor at the age of 96 with her loving family by her side during her last days. Anne was born on January 3, 1921. Anne was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Predeceased by her husband John (1979), she leaves behind her loving children, daughter Shirley Kotack and son Bob Kotack, her beloved granddaughter Rachel Kotack and great-granddaughter Linnaea Robertson. Anne was predeceased by her parents Mary and Andrew Banash, brothers Bernard and John Banash, sisters Jean (John) Stepanzak, Frances (Nick) Kruprowski and Mary (Harvey) Chernetsky. She will be forever loved and missed by her two surviving sisters Sophie (Tony) Ruptash and Carrie (Rudy) Novalski, along with sister-in-laws Irene (John) Banash, Mary (George) Reekie, Nellie (Jake) Dunville and many nieces, nephews and friends. We would like to thank all her caregivers at Wesburn Manor who cared for her over the last 3 ½ years and Josephine Memsah and Elizabeth Espino who were her private caregivers, who provided exceptional care. Anne will be resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St., on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Thursday from 10 am until service time in the funeral home chapel at 11 am. Burial to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimers Society of Toronto would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences at www.cardinalfuneralhomes.com
