Obituary
Beloved Beatriz Carreiro, aged 91, died peacefully on January 24, 2016 at Castleview Wychwood Tower, with family by her side. Beatriz was born July 28, 1924 in Rabo de Piexe Sao Miguel, Azores, the daughter of the late Agostinho and late Maria-Jose Martins Gouveia. Beatriz had a passion for gardening, flowers, sowing, and crocheting. She enjoyed the outdoors and going on short trips. She had a great sense of humour and could make any awkward situation happy. Married in 1951 to the late Jancinto Carreiro, she is survived by her 4 Daughters, 2 Brothers, 9 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Step Sons, 1 Step Daughter, Step-Grand-Children and Step-Great-Grandchildren. Viewing will be at Cardinal Funeral Homes (366 Bathurst St. Toronto, ON.) on Wednesday January 27, 2016. 1st viewing from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and the 2nd viewing from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM The funeral service will be at St. Matthew’s Church (706 Old Weston Road, Toronto, ON) on Thursday January 28, 2016 at 9:00 AM Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery following the service (8361 Yonge St., Thornhill, ON.) Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.Visitation
