As a child, my fondest memories of "teta" were my trips to Toronto and she would always have my favorite foods ready for me: Kraft macaroni and cheese and tang. It was such a treat since my mom never made Kraft macaroni and cheese and tang! Radishes was also something that I loved to eat and she always had them ready for me!! And I always looked forward to spending Easter with her and blessing our Easter baskets at church. Last year I visited with her and she couldn't stop talking about our "dziadzyo", her father, and I saw how happy she was talking about him. So I know that dziadzyo was probably right there by her side as she crossed over to her new life. I can just envision "teta" and my "mama" and all our loved ones having a grand re-union in heaven!
