Claudette was born in Berbice, Guyana, South America. She studied Nursing in Tottenham, England, and worked as a midwife before immigrating to Canada in 1974. Claudette raised her 4 children in Toronto and worked at Toronto Western Hospital as a Registered Nurse for thirty years until she retired. Claudette was loved by all who knew her. She was passionate about her Anglican faith and participating in caring for those less fortunate in her community, and an active member of her parish at St James Cathedral.
A heartfelt thanks also to all our family and friends across the world and her neighbors who have provided love and support. We will hold a small family ceremony of remembrance for Claudette privately, with a larger celebration of life planed once it is safe to be together.
