FERNANDES, Conceiçao (Connie) Ferreira - Born March 18, 1916 in Funchal, Madeira. Died November 4, 2012 in Castleview Wychwood Towers, age 96. A proper lady who excelled at embroidery and feeding her family with love, Connie married Jose J. Fernandes at 18 and moved to North York in 1966. Predeceased by two infant children, husband Jose (June 1987) and son Virgilio (March 23, 2010). She is survived by daughter Rita Renouf, granddaughter Monique Renouf, grandson James Fernandes (Vilay) and great- grandchildren Alessandro DiMauro and Ohrya Distefano. Visitation Thursday, November 8th at Cardinal Funeral Homes, 366 Bathurst St., from 6 to 9 p.m. Service Friday, November 9th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 15 Grace St. Donations to the Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada appreciated.Visitation
