It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dorotea Saieva (nee Papia), who died peacefully in her home at the age of 90, on Thursday, September 2, 2021.
Devoted wife of 57 years to Domenico and cherished mother of Rosaria, Carmelo (Heather), and Florence (Spyros). Adored grandmother of Christopher (Pauliina), Alissa (Blake), Matthew, Michael, and Nicholas; and, great-grandmother to be.
Precious daughter of the late Giuseppe and the late Alfonsa. Treasured sister of the late Rosa (the late Giuseppe), the late Giovanni (Dorotea), Carmela (the late Francesco), Maria (the late Giuseppe), Raimondo (Antonietta), Angelo (Rosa), and Stella (the late Vincenzo). Dearest aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She will be sadly missed by us all, but her spirit will continue to live on in our hearts and the miracles we will encounter in our lifetimes.
COVID restrictions limit the number of attendees at the cemetery to 50. In order to ensure compliance with this number, those attending at the cemetery will be by invitation only. The family further regrets that in the interest of keeping everyone as safe as possible there will be no after funeral gathering scheduled. There will be opportunities to offer final condolences to the family at the cemetery for those attending the entombment.
