Obituary

FRIEDA (EFROSYNIA) HALABAR (nee TARANENKO) Passed away on February 5th, 2013. She leaves in deep mourning her husband of 64 years Michael (Mychajlo) Halabar; daughter Lorraine (Lesia) Dobrovolsky and son Yaroslaw with his wife Lida. Babusia will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Andre and his wife Angela Dobrovolsky, Olenna and her husband Nii-Apa Lamptey, Katherine and Alexandra Halabar. Frieda touched the lives many people having been an active member within the Ukrainian community. Visitation will be held at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre at 60 Richview Road, Etobicoke, on Sunday February 10th from 4:00-8:00pm with Panachyda Service at 6:30pm. Funeral Service will be at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre on Monday, Feburary 11th at 10:00am. Internment to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery, 1280 Dundas St. West, Oakville.
