Obituary
It is with a great deal of sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Eileen, on Friday, October 19, 2007 at the age of 80. Loving wife of 45 years to the late George Broadhurst. Cherished mother of David and his wife Lisa. Proud Grandma of Christopher, Andrew, Tasha, Matthew, Sean and Kendal. She will be missed by her brother Ken Vancise and wife Janet of Medicine Hat, Alberta and by her cousin Alma Brooks and husband Ernie of Toronto. Predeceased by her son Ghent. Eileen will also be missed by her many dear friends at the Highway Terraces in Rexdale where she lived and the Keele Street Christian Church where she was a longtime member. Friends may call at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette Street (near Keele) on Friday, October 26 from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service to celebrate Eileen's life will be held on Saturday, October 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Keele Street Christian Church (Keele and Annette Streets) with visiting at the church half an hour prior to the service. Cremation will take place with private interment at a later date at Glendale Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
