Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Eulalia  Pereira  Silveira on March 26, 2021 at the age of 85.
Eulalia was born in Calheta de Nesquim, Pico, Azores where she married her late husband Mario. They immigrated to Canada in 1971 with their 7 children and expanded the family in Canada with 2 more. She found  joy in spending time in the kitchen and sharing her specialty dishes with family and friends. Her love had no limits for her family. She will be greatly missed by her children Eduarda, Regina (the late Silverio), Gilberta (John), Telma (Mike), the late Germana (Bruce), Tony, Rui (Nancy), Danny (Marlene) and the late Melissa as well as her 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and all her extended family and friends. A special thank you to the wonderful and caring staff at Streetsville Community Centre where she resided for the last 5 years.

Due to the current Covid - 19 restrictions in Toronto that allow a maximum number of guests to attend a funeral, the service details will be kept private and attendance will be by invite-only.

The family thanks you for your support and understanding during this challenging time.

Sincerest condolences on the loss of your mother. I am truly saddened that she has passed but she is now reunited with her soulmate and daughters in heaven May the Lord bless you and keep you in this time of sorrow, reminding you of treasured memories, and the gift of shared love. May he inspire you with the reflection of heaven in earth, from the seeds and flowers, to the mountains and springs. And may you feel the Lord with you, walking besides you in the loneliness, taking your hand in the hardest times and carrying you through the waters of grief. May you be safe and treasured in his hand. Amen
