Obituary
Ezaltina Macedo was a sweet, generous, kind, and loving person. This was our Mom. She exemplified the meaning of a “servant’s heart”. She served her family graciously and whole-heartedly. She made hundreds upon hundreds of meals for her loved ones, namely; Christmas Dinners, New Years, Easter, Thanksgiving, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, and many Birthdays. She never tired of doing what she loved most – serving and loving upon her family.
Mom was a faithful and devoted wife to Manuel, who went to be with the LORD, 4 years ago. She was a loving and caring Mother to her children; Frank, Margaret, Victor and Steven. She was Grandmother to; Jennifer, Brent, Ryan, Philip, Victoria, Vanessa, Austin and Rebecca. She was Great-Grandmother (also known as VaVo) to; Sarah Caleb, Hannah, Dallas, Denver, Noah, Avery, Aiden and Ava.
How she loved and looked forward to seeing her Great-Grandchildren. She would almost always pull out her wallet (she kept her purse always by her side) and she took out money and gave it to each one of them. They would willingly and happily accept with big smiles followed by a huge hug. She loved that. Sometimes VaVo would start speaking in Portuguese and they would reply “what, I don’t understand what you are saying VaVo.”
Mommy was such a hard worker. You know, they sure don’t make them like that anymore. That’s why it was so difficult to see our precious Mom declining so rapidly. Mommy had a zest for life, but age crept up on her. We had our beloved Mom for almost 91 years. She would of celebrated her 91st Birthday on November 17th. Mom faithfully would watch her TV Mass every day. She prayed daily. She knew her LORD and Saviour. She had faith in God Almighty. That’s why all her children rejoice, even though our hearts are mourning the loss of our precious Mother’s passing, we know that she’s in the Presence of her LORD, Jesus Christ. Mommy, enjoy your eternal home in Heaven for now your body is completely made new, whole and completely healed.
Our sweet, precious and beautiful Mom, we will miss you more than words can ever express. We will always remember the wonderful times we had together, sharing the best meals, for you where most definitely a great cook. Thank you Mommy for being such a great role model of what it means to be; humble, kind, generous, selfless, caring and loving unconditionally.
With all our love and affection; your children.
