Mrs. Filomena Malfara

My deepest condolences and love to the Malfara family. Bruno and Antonio your mom was an important part of my childhood. She looked after me and helped to raise me when I was 3 and 4 years old before you guys were born. I remember the time when she told me that a new baby would soon be arriving, she was thrilled and I felt her excitement. A truly loving and giving woman with a beautiful heart who absolutely cherished and loved her family. The world is a much better place because my Comara Filomena was here. All my love for all of eternity, your Piniatella.

Dear Bruno, Tony, Lundy, Emma and Amanda: I am saddened to learn of the passing of your dear mom/grandma. After all those years of coming over to have coffee with her and Mr. Malfara, and especially in view of the extended conversations we used to have during those visits regarding the origin of the “compare” relationship, I guess I always saw her as a member of my extended family. Hence, from a selfish perspective, I will miss her outlook, which was always cheerful despite the extraordinarily lengthy illness she had to endure. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time.

Bruno, Tony and family, I'm truly sorry for your loss. Your mother was a wonderful woman who will be missed. May God grant you comfort in the days ahead.

Dear Bruno, Tony, Lundy, Emma and Amanda, We are so very deeply sorry to learn of the passing of your beloved mother, mother-in-law and grandmother and our beloved Filomena. Filomena was a truly wonderful, genuine, loving person and she will forever be in our hearts. She is sorely missed and may she rest in eternal peace.
