Obituary

June 22, 1951 – March 11, 2009



 



After a courageous battle with cancer, Gordana,  beloved and devoted mother of Jessica and Jennifer, sister of Vule, peacefully passed away at Toronto Grace Hospital. A truly beautiful mother, Gordana spent her life sharing and teaching love to her family and friends throughout the world. She will forever live in our hearts strong in spirit, and her love shall never be forgotten. She was truly an inspiration to all who knew her.  She will be missed dearly by her friends at Sick Kids Hospital, her students from all corners of the world, and her dear best friends, Allyson, Joanne, Melissa, Dobrila and Bernie.  Friends may call at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street (North of Dundas) on Friday from 6-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Arch Angel St. Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, 212 Delaware Avenue (north of Bloor) on Saturday, March 14 at 10 am. Interment will follow at York Cemetery.

Mom it's 2024 dad has passed on now over a year ago. You are together again one day we will all be together as well. I miss you so much. I just turned 39 and you passed when I just turned 24..... I think of you everyday you and dad. Jessica n I are back speaking again and as you n dad used to tell us when we were young that we will only have eachother one day we'll we now do...we were actually talking about that the other week.....we are getting by but we definately miss you both... We hope that we did u n dad proud with the burials we still haven't engraved dad's name in yet because of money but that is definately going to happen soon. I love you Jessica loves you we love both of you. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful childhood that any other child would be jealous of. You both were our heroes our hearts our everything.
