Sawrantschuk, Helen – It is with great sadness that we announce that Helen Sawrantschuk left us on April 16, 2014. She passed away peacefully at The Dorothy Ley Hospice, in Toronto. Beloved wife of the late Michael Sawrantschuk, and wife of the late Alexander Bloschinsky . Loving mother of Tammy (Bill Muchichka) and Nick (Jacqueline). Beloved grandmother of Andrea (Joe Papia), Natalie (Kevin Cook), Nicole and Victoria. Great-grand mother of Ashley, Brianna, Jake and Adam. Helen will be greatly missed by the Bloschinsky families. Friends may call at the Cardinal Funeral Home (366 Bathurst Street) on Monday April 21, 2014 between 6 – 9 p.m. Panachyda/memorial service at 7:30 p.m. on Monday April 21, 2014 at the Cardinal Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at St. Volodymyr Cathedral (406 Bathurst Street) on Tuesday April 22, 2014 at 12 p.m. Interment following at St. Volodymyr Cemetery in Oakville (1280 Dundas Street W.) If desired, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Volodymyr Cathedral or the Canadian Cancer Society.Visitation
