Obituary

Isilda Maria Correia Pimentel, age 80, died on Saturday June 3rd surrounded by her loving husband, and 3 children in Toronto Western Hospital.

She was born in São Miguel, Portugal to Jose and Santo Cristo Correia, and was the third oldest of six children. An amazing selfless soul that wanted nothing more than to make everyone happy. A beautiful person that was truthfully kind without a single cell of hatred towards anyone. A devout Catholic that really practiced the word of Jesus by loving everyone and making sure everyone was loved, even more if they felt they didn’t deserve it. With music in her heart, her family will remember her for the way she played the Portuguese guitar so beautifully. She was an amazing wife, grandmother, and mostly, an amazing mother. Raised her kids to love, respect, and be kind. Isilda will be remembered as an angel on earth. The kindest heart one could ever encounter. And anyone who knows Isilda, will tell you the same. She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandkids, nieces, nephews, brother, sisters, son and daughters in law, and friends. May she rest in peace…
