Beloved mother of Lena and Bohdan, mother-in-law of Alexandra and Christine. Grandmother of Peter and Oksana, Natalie, Michael and Natalie, Roman and Katherine, Andrew and Kathy, Sophia and Giovanni. Great-grandmother of Alexander, Steven, Tom, Anya and Melania. Jaroslawa was born in Zolochiv, Ukraine and died peacefully in her sleep on August 7, 2012 at 102 years of age. She was a teacher in Ukraine, a great baker, an avid reader and a superb storyteller. Her love and presence will always be remembered by her family and friends. If desired donations to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario would be appreciated by her family.Visitation
