Sincere Condolences to the family. Mother Smith (as she was known to us) was a stalwart in the kingdom of God. A strong woman with a lot a wisdom. I benefited from her wealth of experiences that she shared with me upon her visits to Guyana. She lived a full life. She surely ran her race well and her crown is awaiting her in glory. May her sweet soul rest in peace.

My Beloved Mother, well done! You have truly lived an outstanding life as a Wife, Mother, Mother-in-law, Grand-Mother, Great Grand-Mother, Sister, Aunt, Friend, and perhaps, most importantly as a child of the Most High God. It still amazes me when I reflect on how you and dad related to people of all backgrounds with respect and equanimity. Thank you for your outstanding example of walking by faith. I remember the luncheons you had for the very poor who were indigent and institutionalized, at our home. I remember you always being there for me and others who needed your care and comfort. Thank You! I do not recall going hungry once. Thank You! Thank you for emphasizing family unity, not only among our immediate family, but extended family as well. Thank you for caring for Ma, your beautiful Mother who lived with us. The Lord Jesus has greatly rewarded you with the care you have received. Thank you for being both decent and discreet. Thank you for contributing to so many happy memories. Thank you for being a good steward . Thank you for being a wise woman who had a genuine fear of God. Thank you for your Christian service. Thank you for being a student of God's Word and being able to discuss in depth truths revealed in the Holy Bible. Thank you for your Ministry of Intercessory Prayer which was maintained until your promotion to Glory. I have no doubt you have stored up much treasure in Heaven, which our Saviour said will not be stolen nor corrupted. I therefore say enjoy! Enjoy the welcome you have received and all the wonderful blessings stored up for you as you hear the Words "Well done good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of your Lord." With much love, admiration and respect, Percy Rawle Smith

Mom Smith was a truly loving and caring mom of the church. She didn’t judge you for your mistakes only loved and embraced. So although we mourn my heart is also filled with joy knowing she is reunited with her family and save in the arms of her saviour. Be comforted in all the great times you shared and use those memories to help pick you up when feeling sad. Love you all
