Obituary
With deepest sorrow, the family of Kalliopi Tsuluhas announce her sudden passing on May 2nd, 2022 at the age of 89. Treasured wife of late Georgios. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Marina (Anthony), John (Catia) and Peter; grandchildren Gregory (Alexandra), Tina (Matthew), George (Meredyth), William (Caitlin) and Georgios; and great-grandchildren: Franco, Marina, Lily, Penny, and Zoe; as well as numerous relatives and friends both here in Canada and Greece.
Kalliopi was born and lived her early life in Nea Hora, Greece before immigrating to Canada in 1987. She was the eldest, cherished sister of seven siblings and beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as a happy, outgoing, and passionate woman who enjoyed life, time spent outdoors gardening and being surrounded by people. Kalliopi enriched the lives of those who were lucky enough to know her and we will forever remember her fondly.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Nisbet Lodge staff, especially those on the fourth floor. The compassion and care they provided in the final months of Kalliopi’s life was truly appreciated. There are not enough words to express our gratitude.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nisbet Lodge and McClintock Manor Foundation
