Obituary
Unexpectedly in her 90th year on Saturday, June 1st, 2013, in Toronto. She leaves behind her loving husband Hryhorij, her devoted daughter Lesia Charko (Roman) and grandsons Markian and Yuri (fiancé Victoria). She also leaves behind family in Pidzvirynecz, Ukraine, in Montreal, Ottawa and the U.S. Kateryna was an incredible cook who showed her love for her family by preparing wonderful meals up until her last days. Resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette Street on Tuesday, from 6-9pm with Panachyda at 7:30pm. Funeral services commencing on Wednesday at 9:15am and then to the Ukrainian Catholic Sobor of the Holy Protection (30 Leeds St.) for funeral mass at 10:00am. Internment to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery, Oakville. Vichnaya Pamyat.Visitation
