PANKIW, Kateryna – born in Dobra, Ukraine and passed away after a long illness on Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Toronto in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Ivan. Loving mother to Maryanne, Olga Pankiw-Petty (Keith Petty), Michael and Ron (Angela). Cherished grandmother of Elaine, Robert, John-Andrew, Markian, Veronica and Johnathan. Dear great grandmother to Ryder and Tuesdae. Survived by her sister in Ukraine. Kateryna will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends in Canada, United States and Ukraine. A visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (east of Keele) on Wednesday, March 18th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Panakhyda 7:30 p.m. A Divine Liturgy will be held at St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 143 Franklin Ave. on Thursday, March 19th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery (Bloor & Prince Edward). very sorry for your loss. mrs pankiw will allways be remembered as my favourite lady. she was allways happy and spoiled us kids with baked goods and treats and she never had a mean thing to say .
I am happy that she touched my life in such a positive way.she will not be forgotten..
