Our deepest condolences to the Viegas family. Tony were sorry for you loss, it's never easy to lose our parents. To our wonderful neighbor Sra. Maria who has passed away to a better life, you'll be missed. She always had a smile on her face when we passed by her house from the church, the store or just going for a walk. She was great person and wonderful neighbor. You will be missed. Que a sua alma descansa em Paz. Love, Claudia, Wayne, Ryan and Tyler Whyte

I was sad to bury our/my Avo today. All these years it felt as if she would just always be there. I will miss her sense of humour (she always got my jokes and I got hers and I love all the times we laughed together), her delicious food and how eager she always was to share her recipes and how much she stressed the importance of using a lot of olive oil! But most of all I will miss and I appreciate how much she genuinely loved and cared about her grandchildren and great grandchildren and I will always remember how happy she was to see us all and give and receive our love and affection. Love you Avo.

As we buried my grandmother today, i was filled with only good memories. She brought us all together and kept us from straying away for so many years. Every holiday she welcomed us into her home and fed us the best turkey and rice that anybody ever tasted. Even the times i would go over for a visit, she would always make me something special as we would sit at her kitchen table and talk about life. As i drove home from the cemetery, i thought about how lucky we were to have her for so long and how fortunate we were that she and our grandfather sacrificed so much so we could all have better lives in Canada. Um grande beijinho avo, descansa em paz, e toma conta do avo Viegas. Ele esta a espera de ti.
