Burello ; Maria (nee Simonetta)                    



     It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Maria, on February 19, 2005. Maria was called from us at the age of 64, after a courageous battle with Diabetes. Maria was born in the

town of Filogaso, Italy on August 15, 1940. She immigrated to Canada and settled in Toronto where she married and raised two daughters. Maria, devoted wife of Angelo. Cherished Mother of Silvana and Albina and her Husband Paul Emanuelli. Loving nonna of Robert and Isabella. Admired Sister of Agatha and her husband Domenic Gallello, Giacomo and his wife Nunciata, Dominic, as well as Antonio and his wife Caterina Simonetta and Beniamino and his wife Maddelena Simonetta of Italy. Maria will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all her nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at the Cardinal Funeral Home, Earle Elliott Chapel, 715 Dovercourt Road (Ossington Subway, Delaware Exit) on Monday February 21, 2005 From 7-9 pm. and Tuesday February 22, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday February 23, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church (1041 Bloor St., west of Dovercourt Rd.). Maria will be laid to rest at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave. W.). In loving memory of Maria, donations to St. Michaels Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
