Obituary

After a very short and sudden illness our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother was called home to Heaven on April 25, 2020. She was born in Sao Roque, Azores, Portugal and is predeceased by her 2 brothers and parents, Manuel Junior and Ameila do Conceicao.   She is predeceased by her husband Manuel Andre who passed away at the age of 39 leaving her a young widow at 35 with 3 small children (Laura, Edith and Joao).  She immigrated to Toronto, Canada with her father in the early 1970’s and looked after him until his death at the age of 91.  She was a grandmother to 11 children and 13 great grandchildren. Dos Anjos was loving, gentle, witty and soft spoken. She always wanted to look her best and carried herself just as she lived her life with grace.  She was always on the move and was active until the last few days of her life.  We all learned so much from her and will treasure the words of wisdom and the time we were fortunate to have with her. The memories she left behind will last forever and she will be terribly missed by all those who knew and loved her.   Until we meet again.
