Maria Helena Cabral (nee Da Ponte) February 12, 1931-July 17, 2013 Passed away after a short battle with cancer/leukemia on Wednesday July 17, 2013 at the Toronto General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Antonio Ferreira Cabral. Devoted and loving mother of Helen (Joe), Tony (Mary Ann), Paula (Gary) and Lucie (Donny). Cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Tim, Chris and Kayla. Great grandmother of Matthew and David. Family and friends are invited to the Cardinal Funeral Home at 366 Bathurst Street (north of Dundas St.) on Sunday July 21, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10am at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church (15 Grace Street, Toronto) followed by entombment at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto). I have to say that even though I didn't know your mother, she was obviously a fantastic mother who raised four wonderful,kind,compassionate and caring children.
