Due to the current pandemic restrictions and under direction from our regulator, the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, effective November 23, 2020 all funerals and visitations will be by invitation only to limit the number of people in attendance and prevent the spread of COVID-19. My condolences to the entire Tavares family. Anyone who ever had the privilege to meet Mrs Tavares would see first hand what kindness is all about. This is a lady who came to this country as an immigrant and worked honest and hard to raise a great family. Her memory will live long with all the great grandchildren she leaves behind. Raise a toast to Mrs T with one more shot of that great port wine that she used to bring from Portugal that we so often drank on the Westmoreland ave porch in the good old days..god bless
