It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Maria Machado on August 25, 2016 at 88 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Jose Machado and mother of Maria (Ron), Joseph (Sue) and Anthony (Sheri). Loving grandmother of Marisa and Adam. She will be missed by everyone whose lives she has touched. The visitation will be held on Sunday, August 28th, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at Cardinal Funeral Homes, 366 Bathurst Street. Funeral Service will be on Monday August 29, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Church (840 Bathurst Street), followed by interment at Mount Hope Cemetery (305 Erskine Avenue). Very sad to hear about Titia Rosarinha passing away. god be with you three children that she was very proud of and your families.
Fortuantely Titia Rosarinha had a long and full of good memeories and lots of love overall. i only have fond memories for her and may she she in peace with her other heavenly family.

So sorry to hear about the passing of my aunt Rosarinha. May she rest in peace in the hands of our heavenly father. Her three children were very lucky to have her for 88 years. God bless the family.

Sorry to hear that Tita Maria has passed away. She had a good life and now is with her loved ones in Heaven. Our condolences to the family left behind. She was a great lady.

Maria! Our love, prayer, hope and faith go out to you, Ron and all your family, there is a proverb that all good mothers go straight to heaven, I believe that. Knowing you, I can easily say you have not just a good mother but the very best. I remember meeting her and thinking, she's such a sweet, kind woman but I could sense this deep strength in her as well and I thought about her leaving everything she knew and coming here to Canada Amazing! I can see her courage, determination and integrity continues on in her children especially you Maria! Life is eternal, love is immortal and death is only an horizon!
